Procurement Manager

A premium food retailer is looking to recruit for procurement manager to join its established team in London. The procurement manager will oversee part of the ambient category within this supermarket retailer. You’ll be responsible for vendor management including product selection, pricing, supplier relationships and managing the supply chain critical path.

The successful candidate will have gained experience as a procurement manager, ideally within supermarket retail although not essential. You will be highly energised and motivated, someone who is able to think outside the box and bring a problem solver approach to the organisation. You are able to do things differently from typical food retail, new ideas, different ways of doing things are encouraged. The ideal candidate will also have managed butcher and/or fishmonger counters as part of your remit.

In return the role is paying up to £55,000 as a basic salary, plus an annual bonus of up to £4,000. The office base is in the City in a beautiful area of London.
