Full Time Pizza Chef – Quaystone Bar & Kitchen - Newcastle Airport

Now we pay more! Everyone regardless of age starts on £11.65 per hour. ( An additional £1.20 per hour for shifts worked between 00:00 am and 06:00am )

Shift Pattern: between 4:00am and 22:00pm including weekends - we are sure you can find something matching your flexibility.

We have some exciting and ambitious plans here at Newcastle Airport and are looking for Full Time permanent Pizza Chefs to come and join our team at Quaystone Bar & Kitchen!

Due to some responsibilities within the Pizza Chef role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
Please note that successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations.
Previous experience working in the kitchen required to be successful.

A Pizza Chef plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a bar, contributing to creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing excellent customer service. Their responsibilities encompass various tasks, from preparing and serving drinks to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety regulations. This multifaceted role requires a combination of technical skills, interpersonal abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

AS A PIZZA CHEF, YOU’LL:

Help with deliveries.
Prepare meats and vegetables.
Assist fellow chefs.
Assist in stock rotation.
Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
Demonstrate effective time management for preparation and food service.
Understand precise measurements of dish ingredients and portion sizes.
Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
Confidently cook completed dishes from the menu.
