LGV1 Driver Bracknell Transport PM Shift

Due to its nature, you need to be 18-years or older to work in this role.Key Responsibilities- Planning out your delivery journey, ensuring efficiency to support the smooth running our our supply chain operation. - Supporting with the safe loading and unloading of your trailer. - Carrying out a full set of safety checks on your lorry. - Maintaining a full knowledge of the Highway code, WTD, EU Drivers Hours Regulations, the Partnership's Transport Partners handbook and the driver's training pack and adhere to them - Finding solutions to unexpected situations in the day and keep the transport office up to date with your journey, communicating any problems and delays that might occur.- Reporting any vehicle issues appropriately.- Completing supplier and Partnership documentation accurately.Essential skills/experience you'll need- A valid Manual UK LGV1 C + E driving licence (with a maximum of 6 points).- A valid DCPC (Drivers Qualification Card) and valid Tachograph Card.- Previous experience driving a 44t articulated lorryDesirable skills/experience you may have- Good local/national geographical knowledge.
