Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 / year

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Manager at one of our biggest airport operations in America, featuring some of the most beloved local Chicago restaurants. What You’ll Do:
Focus on the Food: Ensure food quality and standards; maintain recipe adherence and portion control, ensuring compliance with our company and our restaurant partners.
Manage All Kitchen Activities: Oversee product ordering, high-volume food production, and storage processes to ensure industry-leading food quality and safety.
Cost Control: Optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability.
Oversee Deliveries: Ensure accurate and timely delivery of production items and ingredients to various restaurants within the airport.
Leadership and Cultural Development: Create a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and career growth. Promote a safety-first culture in the kitchen.
Inventory and Waste Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and avoid stock shortages. Implement waste reduction strategies and ensure proper product rotation.
What We’re Looking For:
Educational Background: Minimum of 2 years post-high school education; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in restaurant/food service management with direct P&L responsibility, plus multi-restaurant food service purchasing experience.
Technical Training: Culinary production background is preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact at all levels, including with executives, union representatives, and diverse hourly team members.
Analytical Skills: Capable of conducting gap analysis to improve business operations and satisfaction levels.
