As the Head of Personalisation Delivery, you'll design and deliver the way in which we accelerate and integrate Personalisation into the business. Through a combination agile squads, set up to run fast implementation and incubation of new personalisation functionality and solutions that deliver customer growth, and the building of foundational skills, processes, tools and capabilities across the business to support the long term ambition for Personalisation at Tesco. You will build the team, establish the way it operates, define the delivery roadmap for Personalisation, and direct the delivery, to assure we collectively meet our business targets.

You will be responsible for:

Owning the way in which we deliver personalisation and customer growth for the business.
Constantly reviewing the methods we are using to develop and deploy personalisation and adapting ways of working to optimize performance.
Delivering the Personalisation roadmap across the Personalisation Squads and other Personalisation delivery methodologies.
Working with senior business leaders to build strong relationships and support for the Personalisation roadmap, constantly managing the stakeholder portfolio.
Designing the way in which we operate the squads, establishing their role, cadence, capacity and the way they integrate to the business.
Defining and scoping each squad and delivery method, establishing clear direction by shaping the ambition, priorities and business case rationale, ensuring they are delivering the expected customer and commercial outcomes, while also moving us closer to our long term ambition.
Defining and managing the resources and budgets for the delivery of Personalisation at a portfolio level, to ensure delivery is within agreed investment.
Ensuring delivery is accurately gathering and analysing cross functional requirements for each project and building the delivery plan with Tech and business partners.
Leading the sprint planning process across the squads ensuring the squads have a clear roadmap and are planning ahead.
Establishing and facilitating the appropriate levels of governance to provide effective oversight and direction for the Personalisation roadmap.
Driving progress in a consistent, transparent way.
Building cross functional teams, establishing and embedding clear ways of working.
Being accountable for identifying interdependencies between Personalisation and other Online / Tech / Data squads, ensuring activities are not duplicated but knowledge is shared.
Using critical thinking and your excellent stakeholder management to remove obstacles and support delivery.
Identifying and managing issues and risks, dependencies and identifying and capitalising on opportunities.
Aligning with Tech and Business Planning to coordinate delivery, track progress and share updates on progress, highlighting successes and raising impediments.
Balancing the project's schedule and scope with timely and regular value deliveries.
Building the customer centric culture, focused on understanding the customer and the behaviour we seek.
Building an environment in which team and squad members are being elevated, they feel empowered and work collaboratively to deliver with pace.
Creating a culture of test and learn across, to inform the direction and delivery, and to optimize performance.
Supporting the squads in moving them from incubation to integration into the business processes and teams, at the appropriate time.
Providing subject matter support and development within the Personalisation team and across the broader Change at Tesco community.
Adapting quickly and comfortably with fast changing priorities, and support teams through constant change.

You will need:

Large-Scale Business Transformation: Extensive experience in delivering high-profile, critical business outcomes.
Programme Management: Skilled in managing large-scale programmes.
Agile Methodologies: Expertise in agile practices within customer-focused organizations.
Executive Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders at the executive level.
Commercial Management & Budgets: Proficient in managing large budgets and commercial aspects.
Team Management: Leading and directing large cross-functional teams.
Driving Engagement & Excitement: Engaging teams and driving excitement and innovation.
Risk Management: Identifying and managing risks effectively.
Tech & Data Collaboration: Extensive experience working with Tech and Data teams.
Business Planning & Processes: Skilled in business planning, processes, and exceptional written and presentation skills.
