Head of Category (Buying)

A multinational supermarket chain known for its diverse high-quality product portfolio and providing an exceptional customer journey is looking for a head of buying to lead and develop the ambient product category. The retailer has several stores across London with planned new store openings later this year.

As the head of buying you will be responsible for the largest product category in the company. Due to the new store openings, the revenue is due to increase over the next 2 years.

Coming from a similar position buying for grocery, health and well-being, you will be a strong leader and in a position where you're able to demonstrate developing the current team into larger roles over the next couple of years as the company is expanding. You could be an experienced senior buyer looking to develop.

This is a high-profile role for the company both in the UK and internationally. You will receive a salary of £95,000. In addition, there is a 15% bonus and share schemes. The rest of the benefits package includes healthcare, a pension plan and 35 days holiday (including BH)
