Garment Technologist

Due to continued growth at this successful childrens/teenwear company, an opportunity has arisen for a junior garment technologist.

Working closely with the senior tech, you will be responsible for your own product area, whilst also supporting the wider team and ensuring that each style meets the relevant safety/performance requirements and design concept.

Day to day you will be developing compliant product in line with the critical path; managing wearer trials and fabric development; fitting and sealing samples for bulk production; approving test reports and care labels; analysing returns; and maintaining good relationships and clear communication with suppliers.

The role will suit a junior / assistant tech looking for their next step up, ideally with two years plus experience in the technical field and in interest in childrenswear and relative compliance.
