We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food, Health, and Safety Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of food safety, health, and safety at our client schools.
Job Description

Proactively investigate LTI & RIDDOR’s for Holroyd Howe to reduce injury rates year on year
Aspire and inspire a zero-accident culture throughout the organisation
Proactively investigate allergy incidents and near misses for Holroyd Howe to prevent future incidents
Monitor and review Holroyd Howe safety performance & audit data
Support managers at all levels to drive and continually improve 5 Star HouseKeeping
Support OM’s and Location Managers to prevent allergy incidents and near misses
Regular site visits, meetings and presentations with operations and locations
Monitoring of Navitas Audits and accident/incident data

The Food, Health, and Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust health and safety policies across our catering operations in various independent schools. This role involves regular travel to different school sites to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, conduct audits, and provide training to staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food hygiene, health and safety regulations, and risk management.
Qualifications

Methodical with a good eye for detail
Ability to work well as a part of a team
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent communicator (written/spoken/presentation)
Experience of working within retail, leisure, hospitality or contract catering sectors
Experience of working in a safety role
NEBOSH General Certificate 
Level 4 Food Safety
BSc (Hons) Environmental Health (Desirable)

Strong understanding of the H&S risks within a contract catering environment
Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment
