Fabric technologist & development manager (DENIM)

An exciting opportunity has come up for a fabric technologist & development manager on denim to join a large Bangladeshi supplier as it expands into China.
The role can be based anywhere in China and will help support with denim fabric development and sourcing, whilst understanding the technical elements of garments / fabric.

The role:
• Develop a base of Chinese Denim Mills and suppliers
• Attend trade shows and fairs throughout China / Hong Kong
• Understand and advise the team in Dhaka on technical elements with sourced fabrics

The candidate:
• Previous experience with denim fabrics
• Strong China Mills / Manufacturing experience
• Commercial, with an understanding of the latest denim trends
• Able to speak Mandarin and English

This is a great opportunity to join a supplier, in their next stage of growth. Although this is a full time, permanent role you will be on a self-employed contract.
