About the Role

Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation, cooking, and plating meet the highest standards. You will be responsible for supervising junior kitchen staff, ensuring cleanliness and organization of your station, and maintaining the quality of dishes prepared.

Job Location: Mactan Cebu International Airport

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the assigned section (e.g., grill, pastry, sauté, etc.) of the kitchen.
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within the set menu guidelines.
Ensure that all ingredients are stored and prepared according to food safety standards.
Supervise, mentor, and train junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and kitchen assistants.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen station.
Monitor and manage food inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is available while minimizing waste.
Ensure that all equipment in your section is maintained in good working condition.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new menu items and recipes.
Maintain excellent communication with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including hygiene and food safety standards.
Handle any customer complaints or feedback in a professional manner, ensuring the kitchen delivers consistent quality.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
Ability to manage a kitchen section independently and maintain high standards under pressure.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Creative, with a passion for food and presentation.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work efficiently and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with others in a team setting.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience in high-volume or fine-dining kitchens.
Knowledge of local and international cuisine.
Ability to handle and resolve kitchen issues professionally.
Strong attention to detail.
