Assistant CAD Designer - Footwear & Accessories

Our London based client is looking for an assistant CAD designer to join their busy footwear & accessories team during a peak period.

This is a freelance role on an on-going basis with great long term potential and will be based on site at the office in London. You will need to have 3D experience for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce high quality renderings of accessories and shoes from photographs/designers sketches
• Produce and update seasonal overviews.
• Produce detailed and accurate spec for hardware/trims and jewellery.
• Create 3D models of spec and prints.
• Produce print and check placements and assist with providing artworks for product development, providing colour swatches and printouts.

Must have advanced knowledge of:
• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• Indesign
• Rhino
• Makerbot 3D printers

The successful candidate will have prior design experience and be able to produce CADs to a high standard.
