Assistant Merchandiser & Buyer

A growing e-commerce fashion retailer who is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser & Buyer to join its team to help manage branded and own-bought products, ensuring they align with brand strategy and meet customer demand. You will work closely with brands, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, product accuracy, and successful product launches.

In this role, you’ll support the buying team by converting product selections into purchase orders, ensuring they stay within budget and meet delivery timelines. You will monitor stock levels, manage reorders, and input product details into our ERP system. You'll liaise with suppliers to ensure timely product content uploads and collaborate with design and marketing teams to launch new products effectively. Additionally, you will assist with negotiations, track product performance, and report on sales trends to optimize future buying decisions. Strong relationships with suppliers will be key to managing deliveries, maintaining quality, and ensuring stock availability for seasonal ranges.

The successful candidate will be immediately available, will have strong analytical skills, communication and experience working in a merchandising role at MAA or AM level. Additional experience in buying advantageous. The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks is essential.
