About the opportunity: This role will be responsible for developing all new restaurant opening and remodel marketing plans in line with the expansive pipeline for 2025 and beyond. The brand manager will develop bespoke launch and sustain plans for all new restaurants and remodels across media, creative, PR, social and print execution, working closely with third party agencies to implement these. They will be accountable for the NRO strategy to help elevate the brand and drive footfall and sales in line with key commercial objectives throughout the year. The role will be required to develop key local insights for each opening to create localised plans that deliver against targets. They will also attend regular reviews to monitor sales and implement sustain plans as required. This role will be responsible for working with key stakeholders from property, operations and finance to hit CAPEX targets. The brand manager will be required to monitor all NROs and remodels and develop support plans for those which need additional support. They will also be responsible for overseeing all local marketing requests, working closely with the wider marketing team to implement key campaigns and local activations. As part of the brand and comms team, the role will manage brand consistency across all relevant touch points and ensure the customer experience is at the highest standard. The role will be expected to develop deep customer insights and translate them into effective brand positioning and high impact promotional campaigns, whilst ensuring alignment to the larger global direction of the BK brand. What you'll do: Manage the development and execution of NRO and remodel plans across the full marketing mix (media, PR, social, local) Manage the creative development of all NRO and remodel assets Support the management of relationships with partner agencies and suppliers ensuring that all new restaurant and remodel campaigns are managed within budget, on time, and targeted to achieve measurable ROIs Support the execution of the marketing plan at NROs and remodels across relevant elements of the marketing mix Manage the print execution and rollout for any local requests Ensure consistency of brand standards across all platforms so that campaigns are compliant to brand guidelines Manage associated budgets for NRO and local campaigns Develop and rollout local marketing plans to drive sales and traffic working closely with the ROMs and FZs to identify opportunities Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current marketing strategies and tactics and make recommendations for changes and improvements Work closely with the property and operations team to develop in restaurant permanent signage across all NROs and remodels Attend NROs and oversee marketing activations on the day Oversee local requests for additional support, working closely with the wider marketing team on strategic local plans Work with the commercial finance partner to review and analyse campaign performance, giving feedback and actionable insights to the team Develop sustain support plans for underperforming NROs and remodels Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current marketing strategies and tactics and make recommendations for changes and improvements Keep up to date with the changing market and competitor activity and share this with the wider marketing team Report back on KPIs on new restaurant launches and recommendations You will have: Degree in Marketing (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or equivalent qualification, desirable Minimum 4-5 years experience in a brand/marketing role Ideally experience in the retail/hospitality/leisure industry Ideally experience in new store openings/local marketing Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate accurately and compellingly to a variety of audiences Proven skills in brand marketing, market and competitive analysis, customer insights, project planning, and marketing program development Highly creative and analytical, with ability to apply brand application across integrated channels Comfortable working with numbers, metrics, spreadsheets and online analytics Able to manage multiple projects at any given time, with excellent attention to detail Commercially sound and able to make clear and appropriate decisions to balance brand equity with market opportunity Self-starting and driven to achieve results, holding self and others to high execution standards Evidence of marketing campaigns that have delivered a strong return on investment
