Assistant Financial Planning Analyst

The job role will be reporting into the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, your responsibilities will include Analysing, Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to develop their skillset within a fast paced commercial business.

Main Tasks

Daily / Weekly Sales performance reviews
Assist with producing the Weekly Trade Pack
Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts for various business areas ensuring deadlines are met
Development & production of monthly Admin and Warehouse cost centres reports
Variance analysis on the monthly accounts to explain reasons for any movements in performance versus Budget and Prior Year
Work with the financial accounts team to discuss accruals, prepayments, control accounts (and reconciliations), in order to identify risks/opportunities and stay aware of developments
Provide concise explanations of the admin cost performance for monthly management accounts sign-off meetings
Assisting with Budget production & Forecasting
Analysing the information to assist with various reviews
Various Adhoc duties & projects as and when required
