Xupes is set to open its first store in the UK, with an opening at London’s Royal Exchange.

The store will be located adjacent to Hermes and Louis Vuitton and will sell the company’s range of pre-owned watches, handbags, jewellery and artworks.  The company will also purchase items directly from customers and sell them on their behalf.   There will also be an option to exchange items to encourage customers to recycle their items.

The business was founded in 2009 by Joseph McKenzie and his father Frank. Up until now, the business has operated mostly online, although over 50% of customers visit the Hertfordshire showroom before purchasing.

Xupes has appointed Formroom to design the store. McKenzie added: “The aim is to create an interactive and immersive customer experience which showcases our online origins and encourages clients to transition from the world of digital to real-time whilst encapsulating our personal, unique service.”
