Superdrug has launched a new service, titled ‘quick pick’. The service will allow customers to check stock levels at their local stores, and then order the items online for collection within just 30 minutes.
Currently, 30% of all orders placed on Superdrug.com are collected from customers’ local stores the day after the order is placed.
Matt Walburn, ecommerce director AS Watson UK, said: “We know our customers love the convenience of picking up Superdrug.com orders in our stores and we know they want to live more sustainably – avoiding the emissions that comes from ordering deliveries to their home. Giving customers the ability to purchase online and pick up in 30 minutes with no charge is a key step in bringing our store and online business closer for our customers.”
