Steve Madden is set to open its first standalone store in London, with an opening at Westfield White City on November 11th.

The store will span over 943 square feet, and will be located in the new £600m extension at the shopping centre, joining brands such as H&M, John Lewis, The White Company and Cath Kidston.

Steve Madden, the founder and creative director of the brand, said: “London has always been an inspiring place for me. In fact, my first shoes ever from Steve Madden were made in a factory located in Hackney. I love everything British: the music, the fashion...it’s always been a dream of mine to open a store in London.”

The brand has previously been available in the UK via Kurt Geiger, which is the brands UK distributor, as well as Asos, but the standalone store will offer the largest range of Steve Madden shoes and handbags, stocking over 350 styles.

In celebration of the opening, Steve Madden will host a VIP event with supermodel Winnie Harlow, who has collaborated with the brand on a Fall Winter 2019 capsule collection.

Kurt Geiger CEO, Neil Clifford, commented: “We’re thrilled to be working with Steve Madden in the UK and opening the first Steve Madden flagship store. We look forward to seeing how the customers react to the new store and collection.”
