PUMA has launched its first flagship store in North America at 609 Fifth Avenue in New York.
The two-storey store will have 18,000 square feet of interactive retail space.
The store will use cutting-edge technology to offer customers an immersive shopping experience, with features including engagement zones, a customisation studio and digitally connected offerings.
Bob Philion, president of PUMA North America, said: “PUMA continues to see solid growth in North America and this new store reaffirms our commitment to this important market. From visitors that come to experience this iconic city to lifelong New Yorkers, we’re excited to open our doors in a vibrant and diverse community that aligns with our ‘Forever Faster’ mentality.”
Customers will be able to view products in different colours and styles through iMirrors placed throughout the store and can ask staff for assistance at the mirror by pressing a button.
They will also be able to customise and personalise PUMA footwear, apparel and accessories using paints, dips, dyes, patchwork, embroidery, 3D-knitting, laser printing, pinning, material upcycling, and many other creative mediums.
Other features include professional-grade F1 racing simulators, which will allow customers to virtually race through the streets of New York City. They will also be able to test the latest PUMA boots on a virtual simulator that mimics the pitch of the San Siro Stadium.
The store will showcase exclusive collections designed by brand ambassadors and athletes.
