The Oasis and Warehouse Group has acquired The Idle Man for and undisclosed fee.

The Idle Man is an online menswear retailer founded in 2014 by former Asos buyer Oliver Tezcan.  The retailer offers ranges from brands such as Barbour and Carhartt, as well as own brand products, covering the premium, fashion and basic categories.

The acquisition will enable the Oasis and Warehouse Group to extend their online offering by entering the menswear market.

Tezcan will remain at the head of the business, and will report into Oasis and Warehouse chief executive Hash Ladha.

Ladha said The Idle Man’s team will bring invaluable experience to the group. He added: “This is an exciting acquisition for us. We can bring to scale The Idle Man’s proposition and the brand allows us to tap into the growing demand for fashionable menswear through a credible and well-established brand”
