Nespresso is set to open a new self-service boutique at London Bridge Station, with a view to increase accessibility to the company’s coffee range and recycling scheme.
The range will include the brands Original and Vertuo coffees, as well as machines and accessories. The store will also facilitate the recycling of used capsules.
The store is due to open in early January, and will be located in the railway arches of London Bridge Station. It will feature a self-selection service, and an automatic checkout using radio frequency identification.
Coffee specialists will be on hand to advise customers and offer tastings and demo the machines.
The company opened three new boutiques in 2019, including micro boutiques in Peterborough and Cardiff, and a fully immersive coffee experience boutique in High Wycombe.
Guilliaume Chesneau, managing director of Nespresso UK and ROI, said: “Our new micro boutique in the capital’s busy London Bridge Station will give commuters quick and convenient access to their favourite products on the go. At the same time, customers will be able to enjoy the unique, immersive Nespresso experience we’re known for, through deeper learning and coffee exploration with our highly trained coffee specialists.”
