MusicMagpie, the online business specialising in refurbished consumer technology, has appointed Matthew Fowler as its new chief financial officer.
With his start date still to be confirmed, Fowler will also become an executive director on joining the business. He will succeed Ian Storey who was promoted to the role of group chief operating officer at the time of MusicMagpie’s IPO.
Fowler has been working as chief financial officer of Genedrive, an AIM-quoted molecular diagnostics company, since 2016. Prior to that, he spent eight years as group financial controller of Scapa Group, an AIM-quoted multinational manufacturing business. His CV also includes stint at British Nuclear Group as finance manager.
