Lululemon has filed its UK accounts, which shows an impressive growth in sales and profits as the ‘athleisure’ trend continues to grow.

The brands UK operation experienced a 38% growth in year-on-year sales to £40.8 million in the 12 months to January 31st.  Post tax profits grew by 42% to £1.2 million.

The brand expanded its retail footprint in the UK with new stores in Guildford and Manchester, as well as a concession in the London Selfridges store.

The company has launched a podcast this week called ‘Sweatlife’.  It is collaboration with Verizon Media’s Makers, and will focus on physical and mental wellbeing.
