John Rogers to leave Sainsbury’s Argos

Sainsbury’s has announced that the chief executive of Sainsbury’s Argos John Rogers, will be leaving the business.

Rogers is stepping down at the end of this month to become the chief financial officer of WWP.

Argos’s retail and logistics team will report to retail and operations director, Simon Roberts and the commercial team will report to commercial director, Paul Mills-Hicks.

Mike Coupe, Sainsbury’s chief executive, said: “John has worked alongside me for over fourteen years and has made an outstanding contribution to the business. He leaves Sainsbury’s with our best wishes for the future.”
