Foot Locker is set to relocate its Manchester Arndale store into a larger unit as part of plans to create a new experience-led shop.
The retailer will move into a 14,000 square foot unit on Halle Mall following years of trading at its smaller Market Street store.
The new store is set to open in 2020. It will be split over two floors featuring retail space as well as areas designed for events, demonstrations and customer experience.
Colin Flinn, regional managing director at Intu, said: “Foot Locker’s expansion reinforces Manchester Arndale as one of the north’s leading fashion hubs. In recent months, we have seen a number of leading brands join our line-up, creating an impressive mix of clothing and footwear options to suit all tastes.”
