Debenhams has appointed Mike Hazell as its new chief financial officer.
Hazell is currently the group finance director at Debenhams, and will be appointed to the board in his new role.
He has held finance roles at Sky and Pfizer before joining Debenhams in 2010.
He will take over the role from Rachel Osborne, who is leaving to join Ted Baker as its chief financial officer.
Stefaan Vansteenkiste, Debenhams chief executive, said: “I am pleased that we have such a strong internal candidate for the chief financial officer role, with Mike having played a key part in the refinancing and restructuring activity over the past 12 months. I look forward to working with him and the rest of the leadership team on delivering our turnaround plan.”
