Balmain’s CEO Massimo Piombini steps down from his role due to “personal reasons”.
Piombini was hired by Balmain in 2017 from Valentino, and has previously discussed his vision for the brand, however he will not be around to see his work come to fruition.
Balmain has begun the hiring process for a new CEO already. The successful candidate will start in their role at the beginning of 2020.
