B&Q is set to open a new store in St Albans in Hertfordshire.
The store will be one of three retail units being built on the Griffiths Way, St Albans site on behalf of Consolidated Property Group.
B&Q will be in a 46,000 square foot unite, joining Aldi, which will be in a 19,000 square foot store, and Costa Coffee, which will be in a 2,200 square foot store.
Alan Shadbolt, group commercial director at Midlands-based MCS Group, said: "CPG is delivering a high quality retail park on a site that has been in real need of redevelopment, bringing new jobs and investment to St Albans.
"We are very pleased to have been awarded the contract and are excited to be working alongside CPG and architects Fletcher Rae to create an excellent new retail destination surrounded by well-known stores and supermarkets."
