Shares at Asos have risen after the company made a number of key non-execuitve director appointments.
One of the appointments is Eugenia Ulasewicz, who was president of Americas for Burberry Group between 1998 and 2013. She currently hold non-executive roles at Bunzl, Signet Jewellers, Vince Holdings and Hudson Group.
The highest profile appointment in the UK is Luke Jensen, who has been the CEO of Ocado Solutions since 2017. He has previously been a senior advisor at Boston Consulting Group and group development director at Sainsbury’s, where he was responsible for online and all customer-facing digital activities.
Karen Geary is also joining the board. She has years of experience in the technology industry, with previous roles being at Micro Focus International, Wandisco and The Sage Group.
The last of the four appointments is Mai Fyfield, who was the chief commercial and strategy officer at Sky, and currently serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Roku, BBC Commercial Holdings Limited, and Nationwide Building Society.
Asos has said that the appointments mark the expansion of the board to reflect the firm’s increase in size and scale, and also to take up the vacant position left by Hilary Riva and Rita Clifton.
