Andrew Coppel has been appointed as Arcadia Group’s new chairman.

Previously, Coppel has been the chief executive of De Vere Group and Queens Moat, and is currently chairman of Dolphin Capital Investors, as well as a non-executive director of M J Gleeson.

With his new position, he will also become chairman of Topshop Topman and Taveta Investments.  He will primarily focus on each of the boards effectiveness and corporate governance, and will also support the executive team to deliver its turnaround strategy.
