Can you think of any improvements to our products/services?
It’s important to be honest if asked this question in an interview but this is your perfect opportunity to sell yourself and let the client know the benefit of having you in their store. Relate it back to past experience in the stores, this shows you are a customer and dedicated to the client and the position that you are applying for – then back this up with what you would do to improve this.
Don’t go too extreme, you’re not going to completely change the entire stock package of the store within a week but break things down into short, medium and long terms goals in order to improve this. What this does, is literally tell the client what you would be doing in the role, they immediately forget the negative that you have just said and start focusing on the positives!
