A new year is very much underway and the recruitment season is upon us as you can tell from this issue of The Retail Appointment which is packed with great jobs and career advice.
Some of the great advertisers we have include our fabulous front cover recruiter, Victoria's Secret. It's probably safe to say that it's the most glamorous front cover we've had yet!
We also have the slightly more demure, but no less stylish Joules heading up the recruiter section on page 12, with fellow clothing brands Whistles, Miss Selfridge, River Island and Wallis also recruiting for a variety of roles.
If fashion isn't your specialism though, we also have some great roles with Hamley's toy store, Co-op, Travelodge or Nando's. We even have roles at Silverstone racing circuit for those who prefer life in the fast lane.
Contents-wise, this issue we take a look at how you can get your motivation back when you feel as though your career has lost its 'oomph' in our Workplace Progression feature. If you're actively looking for a new job and need to give your CV an extra boost then you might want to read our feature on identifying your soft skills and making them work harder for you. Also as a special feature this issue we profile River Island and go through some tips and tricks that will help you to get ahead with your application if you¹re looking for a job with them.
